A Piedmont Tradition

The Piedmont Beautification Foundation Spring Campaign

The Piedmont Beautification Foundation was formed for exclusive aesthetic,   artistic, civic and charitable purposes.  These purposes consist of providing organization and leadership from among the citizens of Piedmont for planning, planting, improving, beautifying and maintaining the parks, streets, Community Hall, civic buildings, schools, churches, memorial structures and other future civic premises and civic projects.  

The Exedra was Built in 1924 as a World War 1 memorial and was a gift to the Citizens of Piedmont by Mr. Wallace Alexander.  The Exedra and ornamental gates were fully restored in 1983 by the Piedmont Beautification Foundation.  In 2002, the Exedra Park Plaza was completed with the leadership and funding of  PBF
